I am fortunate and very thankful to have been born in South Africa and to have attended Grey College and Stellenbosch. The relative small, but dynamic and challenging South African economy – especially the years under international sanctions – provided me with the opportunity to be an entrepreneur and build up experience in so many different industries: from banking to manufacturing to mass transport to professional sport to business.
I love to read non-fiction research-based books on earth’s historic civilizations. Then I dabble in reading about – and attempting to – understand the metaphysical nature of being as it relates to, or compares with, major religions. As a general rule, I don’t watch television and spend as much time as I can with my lovely family.
